General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Payment

2. The right of withdrawal: The consumer has the right to notify the company that he renounces the purchase, without giving reasons, within 14 calendar days from the day following the delivery of the goods or the conclusion of the service agreement.
3. Method of withdrawal and return in the state that the goods arrived at the customer's premises. Return in the state that the item arrived at the customer's premises is at the customer's expense.
4. The consumer may use the Withdrawal Form described below.

5. The consumer does not have the right to abandon the purchase if it relates to personalised purchases or purchases made to the customer's specifications.
6 If you have a complaint about a purchase you can send an e-mail to info@maro.be, if you are not heard and do not want to take legal action, you can reach a solution via the European platform ( http://ec.europa.eu/odr/ ) for online dispute resolution. This is only valid for internet purchases. When appealing http://ec.europa.eu/odr always mention our mail address info@maro.be and when sending your mail put our mail address in CC.
7. a. With regard to professional customers
Invoices are payable in cash. In case of non-compliance with the terms of payment, the seller is entitled to stop delivery and refuse new orders without any notice. In case of non-payment on the due date, the buyer shall owe statutory interest by operation of law and without further notice.
In the event of non-payment of the invoice within the stipulated period, default interest equal to the statutory interest shall be due ipso jure from the due date without prior notice of default.
b. With regard to private customers
Unless otherwise agreed, our invoices are digital payable online or on collection from the showroom by debit card or cash.
If the customer fails to pay within 14 calendar days (+ three working days in the case of a notice of default that is not sent electronically) after sending the first notice of default, the customer shall owe us, ipso jure and without notice of default, compensation in the amount of: € 20 if the balance due is less than or equal to € 150,
€ 30 plus 10% of the amount due on the tranche between € 150.01 and € 500 if the balance due is between € 150.01 and € 500,
€ 65 plus 5% of the amount due on the tranche above € 500 with a maximum of € 2. 000 if the balance due exceeds €500.
If the customer fails to pay within 14 calendar days (+ three working days in the case of a notice of default not sent electronically) after sending the first notice of default, the customer shall also owe us, ipso jure and without notice of default, interest in the amount of the reference interest rate increased by eight percentage points referred to in Article 5(2) of the Law of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.Such interest shall be calculated on the sum yet to be paid. If we should be obliged to pay sums to the customer, the same arrangement regarding compensation and interest shall apply in favour of the customer and at our expense.
8. Delivery costs: Collections can of course be collected (FREE) from our warehouse during opening hours. For delivery costs, please refer to our Return & Shipping section
9. Method of payment, delivery or performance of the contract: Customer can choose to pay online via the webshop or on collection of the goods via debit card or cash.
10. Lowest price guarantee: the lowest price guarantee means normal trade in accordance with the law on trade practices, sales from failures, stolen products or illegal contraband from traders are excluded from our lowest price guarantee.
11. Belgian law applies to this agreement. When registering on this website and/or placing an order, you will be asked for some personal data. These personal data are necessary for the correct and smooth operation of the webshop. The data will only be processed to the extent that the processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement you have concluded with Maro BV. 12. Without prejudice to the buyer's risk in relation to the goods, the seller retains title to the goods delivered until full payment of the price and, if applicable, interest and costs.
13. Quotations are always provided for information purposes only and are valid for a maximum of 8 days.
14. Upon delivery of the goods to the buyer, the buyer must invoke visible defects by email to info@maro.be within 2 months of delivery in which a photo with a detailed and limitative list of the defects is given. The seller's obligation in the context of visible defects is in any case limited to exchanging the goods, all costs of shipping and repair shall then be borne by Maro bv.
15. All our materials comply with European Regulation 1035/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27/10/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EC and 89/109/EC.
16. All disputes related to this agreement shall be governed by Belgian law. Only the Belgian courts are competent for possible disputes.
